In 2018 and 2019, these investments total more than $1.28 million and include, but are not limited to, support for:
- Lenoir Community College Foundation’s Cars for College in honor of former Trustee John O. McNairy.
- Organizations across the state that are assisting immigrant communities after mass raids in 2019, which includes funding for community education, outreach, emergency planning services, access to legal information and supports for affected immigrant communities.
- A Renew and Refresh Sabbatical Retreat for all ZSR Sabbatical recipients.
- Bennett College and Salem College during their fundraising campaigns to sustain their respective accreditations.
